GPR Program Director In this lead program management role, the Director will be responsible for scheduling commitments (2 clinical or outpatient sessions per week including 1 OR session as well as maintaining a daily presence in clinic), act as the attending dentist and uphold active participation in the health plans.
The successful candidate will have a D.M.D./D.D.S. or equivalent professional degree; have completed an accredited postdoctoral training in General Practice (GPR) Dentistry or training in Advanced Education of General Dentistry (AEGD); and have at least three years’ continuous clinical General Dentistry practice including three continuous years’ hospital-based Dentistry (beyond any residency training program) on at least a half-time basis. Three years’ academic and administrative experience teaching in a GPR or hospital-based Residency Program; at least three years’ Adult Dental Emergency experience as part of a hospital Medical Staff; at least 2 years operating room, behavioral management training and experience to include the care of the Special Needs Population preferred.
