Senior Vice President, General Manager Named at Physicians Practice
Baltimore, Maryland — May 23, 2005 — Physicians Practice today announced the appointment of Susan Perez Dembeck as senior vice president and general manager. “We are pleased to elevate Susan within the senior executive team,” said Gerry Hartung, chief executive officer of Physicians Practice. “We believe Susan’s track record and extensive experience working with various clients across the country provide a strong foundation to help steer us through our next phase of strategic growth.” In nearly three years as director of day-to-day operations for Physicians Practice, Dembeck has overseen 91 percent of growth in staffing, and 154 percent of growth in sales. She has also been instrumental in developing the company’s project management, human resources, and production departments. “I have enjoyed helping Physicians Practice evolve into a more diversified medical media company with efficient operations,” said Dembeck, “and I’m confident that the company will continue to achieve growth and success.” Dembeck has more than 20 years of experience in finance, healthcare, technical support, and publishing. Along with bachelor’s degrees in Sociology, Psychology, and Information Management, she also earned a master’s degree in Social Work Administration from the University of Maryland at Baltimore.
