  Karen Zupko is a seasoned senior adviser who has been helping physicians navigate the waters of America's healthcare system since 1974. Her perspective stems from more than 25 years of consulting, coaching, and training experience with physicians and those who manage them. Zupko has built her firm from a "solo practice" to a team of 17. She is on the board of editorial consultants for Medical Economics magazine, a member of the American Marketing Association and the Health Care Strategy Forum. She has also served on the board of trustees of Chicago's Grant Hospital.
  Pamela L. Moore, PhD, CPC, has spent the past 10 years learning, writing about, and teaching practice management. She is currently senior editor at Physicians Practice, America’s Leading Practice Management Journal, serving as lead researcher, consultant, and writer. Previously, Moore was senior editor at the Medical Group Management Association. She is a popular speaker at national and regional events, is a certified professional coder, and has a scholarly background that includes work in medical ethics.
