Both physicians and patients enter a practice visit with certain expectations. Sometimes they are the same but sometimes, they differ and the relationship can get strained.

From a patient who is already frustrated about their wait time to the ones who pre-diagnose themselves using the Internet, there are ways to manage your patients' expectations, according to patient advocate Trisha Torrey.
