This podcast series features conversations with two experts from the MGMA: Robert Bennett, a member of MGMA’s government affairs staff, who explains what parts of the law are likely to affect medical practices, and Dave Gans, vice president of practice management resources at MGMA, who details what practices can do now to get ready for reform. 

On March 23, President Obama signed into law a landmark healthcare reform bill. Some provisions may affect your practice immediately, while many other will be phased in over time.

The first part of this two-part podcast series on healthcare reform features a conversation with Robert Bennett, a member of MGMA’s government affairs staff. Bennett explains what parts of the law are likely to affect medical practices.

Although it will take years to fully implement the healthcare reform law, there are steps medical practices can be taking now to prepare for the changes.

The second part of the healthcare reform podcast series features a conversation with Dave Gans, vice president of Practice Management Resources at MGMA. Gans offers some insights into what practices can do now to get ready for reform.
