From ACP’s 2021 Internal Medicine Meeting
At the American College of Physicians (ACP) Internal Medicine Meeting 2021, Jason S. Schneider, MD, FACP , associate professor of medicine at Emory University, gave a presentation advising physicians on how to achieve a better work-life integration.
The challenge of achieving a work-life balance, he said, has been complicated by such factors as an increased workplace demand during the Covid-19 pandemic, longer workdays and responsibility “creep”, the notion that relaxation and recreation are becoming harder to accomplish, and increased demands of family life and parenting.
