Answer: Median annual compensation for pediatric surgeons is $308,166, according to the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA). There was not enough response to the association's survey from these subspecialists for it to report on the number of cases. However, it does report that general surgeons handle 769 surgery/anesthesia cases a year.
