How automatic payment technology helped one healthcare organization increase in-office patient payment collections and reduce administrative costs.

Getting patients to pay on time is the challenge of many a practice. Debby Essex, director of admissions for Aspen Valley Hospital, in Aspen, Colo., shares how automatic payment technology has helped her increase front-office patient payment collections by 124 percent, and reduce administrative costs by 65 percent. Using this technology from InstaMed (one of a growing number of vendors in the space), her hospital also experienced an 85 percent increase in online adoption.
