Patient No-Show Policy

This written patient no-show policy has helped one Massachusetts practice reduce its rate of missed and late appointments.

What can you do to increase the likelihood your patients will show up for their scheduled appointments?

This written patient no-show policy, provided by Leann DiDomenico McAllister, administrator of Performance Pediatrics, was recently given to all patients at the Plymouth, Mass.-based practice. Since then, the practice has not only reduced its no-show rate, but also its percentage of late-arriving patients. Here is a copy that you can adapt for your own uses.
