Whether medical practices should advertise their services has a long, complicated history, Practice Notes blogger and orthopedic surgeon C. Noel Henley wrote in a recent blog.
“Though the tide is clearly shifting toward the general approval of physician marketing and promotion, it’s still a touchy subject in many circles,” he wrote.
Still, he wrote, it’s time to “start getting your feet wet and promoting your practice in the local community.”
