Where can I get data on salaries for nurse practitioners?

Question: Where can I get data on salaries for nurse practitioners?

Answer: The American Association of Nurse Practitioners does an annual survey. You can review the results free of charge at www.aanp.org. The Medical Group Management Association also includes NP compensation and gross charges in its annual Physician Compensation and Production Survey. You can buy it at www.mgma.com. It has some more detail by specialty, but reports that the median NP salary along the eastern seaboard is $68,919. The median is $70,275 in the south.
