Can we send drug samples to patients through the mail?
Question: Can we send drug samples to patients through the mail?
Answer: Some practices do send drug samples through the mail, but we suggest you communicate with your malpractice carrier before proceeding. It's easy to make a mistake and mail prescription pharmaceuticals to the wrong "Leslie Jones" in your practice, for example. It's much safer to ask patients to visit the office to pick up the samples.
