Amit Jayakar

Amit Jayakar is the Vice President Commercial Operations of Fathom, a Tarsadia and Founders Fund backed company that uses deep learning to automate medical coding. At Fathom, Mr. Jayakar drives the demand generation and pipeline for the commercial organization.

Mr. Jayakar started his career as a software investor at Vista Equity Partners prior to entering the healthcare industry. His passion for healthcare service led him to build bundled payment plans for health systems to introduce them to value based models. Prior to joining Fathom, Mr. Jayakar was a Senior. Product Manager at Change Healthcare where he created API services for consumers by productizing data assets.

Mr. Jayakar earned his bachelor’s degree in Math and Economics from Georgetown University, and his master’s in Business Administration from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
