Physician employment contracts have grown longer and more complex in recent years, and the clauses that carry the most financial and professional risk are rarely the ones that get the most attention at the offer stage.
Compensation is easy to compare. Noncompete geography, termination triggers and call obligations are harder to evaluate and easier to regret.
