In this P2 Management Minute, Neil Baum, MD, explains how a quick daily check-in keeps your staff aligned; saving time while improving the patient experience.

Hello, Neil Baum from New Orleans here, and I would like to talk with you about the best 60 seconds that you can spend in your practice.

And that's the morning huddle, gathering your staff for 60 seconds before you start to see see patients ensures that your staff is on the same page. You have identified any potential problems, you prepare for certain patients. You make sure all the lab work in and reports are in the patient's chart, and you confirm that all patients have prior authorization. This process takes 60 seconds, and the result is it motivates the staff.

It's a good use of your time. It creates a team spirit, and ultimately, it enhances the patient experience.

Well, I hope you found this one minute video helpful and useful. If you have any comments or suggestions, please, let me hear from you at the email address shown on this last slide. Thank you.
